Project 365 was initiated for the first time in 2004 by Taylor McKnight. The purpose of this project is to record life's many events in one photograph a day for a year. I hope you all enjoy the photos that I will be posting on this blog and I encourage you to try it also as it is a fun and exciting way to remember the year!

Carnival Chocolate Melting Cake!!! Justin found the recipe online to the most delicious desert every served on Carnival cruises! We cooked it a little bit too long so it didn't turn out quite like we were hoping with gooey-ness in the middle but it's still very yummy!

I was trying to be sort of artsy with this picture. Not sure how it worked out but anyway, enjoy it!!!

June 22nd
I'm not sure how I'm liking this picture. It's kind of abstract which I like but there's something wrong with it but I'm not sure what it is. I already had a picture of me playing my guitar for this project but that was way back in January and I also had a picture of it just hanging up but I thought it would be okay if I took a sort of a different kind of picture. Enjoy!!!

Sunglasses!!! But the next day I lost them in the ocean when I rode a wave in on my tube and it flipped me over:(

A day at the beach. We made our own "Umbrella City." Hopefully my grandma won't mind me using this picture... sorry Grandma! At least I didn't tell the story about the cliff or the ice cube(:

Money!!! At McGuire's, a restaurant in Ft. Walton, dollar bills are hanging everywhere in there and anyone can write on a dollar bill and hang it on the wall. So that's what I did. Mine is the one that says "Summer 2011."

June 7th
I decided that I haven't taken a picture of myself in awhile so I thought that today would be as good a day as any.

Rock climbing!!! For my birthday, my dad took me to Atlanta Rocks and now I am officially a certified belay-er. (Spell check???) At least according to Atlanta Rocks. There was a little bit of a concern that while me dad was climbing, if he fell and I was belaying then I would go flying up in the air but I only went up a few inches so it's all good(: Hopefully sometime I can belay someone closer to my own weight.
*This picture was not taken while I was belaying him and all safety precautions were used. No dad (or Ashley) was harmed in the taking of this picture*

Whenever he sees my camera he always asks me to take a picture of him and really how can I refuse? (:

My grandma jumping off the diving board. For those of you who do not have the pleasure of knowing my grandmother do not know that she never even goes in the pool and she certainly does not by any means jump off the diving board... but she did and I have documentation. (And her permission to use it as my picture for the day)
June 1st
Okay so this picture is really random but I almost forgot to take one that day so this is all I could get:(
