March 31st

Last day of March!!!  I cannot believe that this project is already 1/4 of the way complete... it's crazy!!!  Well this is a  picture of a flower, I think maybe on an azalea bush but I'm not really sure.  Well anyway happy end-of-March... don't get pranked tomorrow on April Fool's Day!

March 30th

I'm not sure yet but I think I like this picture.  I've seen some pictures like this and they look really cool.  Mine doesn't look that great but I kind of like the angle and everything so all in all it's a fairly good picture I guess.

March 29th

Bad picture again... sorry.  My mother had to be a hand model this time:-)  She LOVES her trail mix every night so what better way to show that than this picture?  I figure if I'm going to capture my life as well as my family's life in a photo a day for a whole year, then I should at least have a picture of my mom and her favorite bedtime snack!

Okay I know this picture is really bad... sorry... again.  This project is so much harder than I thought it would be and it's so frustrating wanting to take a picture a day but not having any good ideas of what to take it of.  Oh well, I'm still holding out for those good days because that is what makes Project 365 worth while in the end!

March 27th

Yesterday I almost forgot to take a picture!  *gasp*  But don't worry, I remembered and this is what I took my picture of.  Since Justin will be gone all week on an 8th grade trip to Washington, D.C., I decided to take my picture of him before he left.  I had a really good one when I caught him by surprise but he didn't approve it so I had to get another one:-(  But this one turned out pretty good also so whatever.

Today's picture is nothing fancy... just a picture of a few pens:-)  Not one of my best but definitely not one of my worst either.

Today I would like to make a special shout out to my grandpa on his birthday.  I took this picture to kind of tell that it's his birthday because he is a pilot and this is a miniature plane that he had that he gave to my brother awhile back.  I just thought I would take this picture so that I could remember his birthday when I go back and look at this project.  Happy Birthday Grandpa!  I love you!

March 24th

This is just a random picture.  I really wanted to go outside and take a picture of the trees with the sun shining through them but that didn't really work out so this is what I came up with.  All in all, it's a pretty good picture I guess.

March 23rd

So this again was a sort of last minute picture.  My grandma actually gave me this idea a little while back but she suggested I take a picture of a clock on the last day of every month.  Well I didn't do that but I am taking a picture of a clock so I hope that makes you happy Grandma!!!  Okay well that is all.  Goodbye.

Today I decided to take a picture of our food grilling.  Veggie sandwiches... yum!!!  I kinda like this picture just because it's different so for once I am actually satisfied:-)

Okay so this as you probably can already tell is a picture of my brother's Sour Patch Kids candy that he bought after he got his braces off.  I for one absolutely hate this particular type of candy but oh well, I was running out of hours in the day to take a decent picture so I'm sorry, but here it is, March 21st's picture.

Okay so this picture is alright I guess.  Definitely not my favorite but it's not bad.  When I saw this pile of sticks burning I thought it would make a great picture because of the fire but this picture didn't capture the fire how it really was.  Oh well, what are ya gonna do?

This is a picture of my other dog Alley.  I don't really like the way I edited it and when I took the picture the lighting wasn't very good but either way she is still cute!!!

March 18th

So this is a picture of my dog's toy.  I realize it's not at all impressive but it was 11 o'clock at night and I only had one hour to take that day's picture.  I know it's bad but this project for me is about remembering to take a picture every day.  That doesn't mean that I'm not trying to improve on my camera skills but for today this was just a picture to say that I have still remembered every day to take a picture.

March 17th

Another unedited photo!!!  I guess it kinda even keeps with the St. Patty's Day them.  Anyway this is a picture of the grass. Obviously.  I had to take another outdoor picture because it's just such a gorgeous day outside.  I know I said this before but I love spring!!!

March 16th

I really love this picture!  Not just because I think it's pretty with the flowers but also because this is one that I didn't edit at all so every part about it speaks to my photographic abilities rather than editing skills.  I love editing photos because it makes them look so much better but sometimes I think it's nice to know that I can take good pictures without the help of a computer or a fancy camera (because really my camera is very simple).  So this is a picture of a Bradford Pear Tree.  For those of you not much into plants and trees and such, it's the tree that for several weeks during the beginnings of spring smells like dead and rotting fish.  Yuck!!!  Either way the trees are gorgeous and they remind me how much I absolutely love spring!!!

Okay I'm really sorry this picture is so lame.  I know I'm saying that a lot, but I'm kind of in a slump with this project.  I just feel zero motivation sometimes and because for me it's just about taking a picture every day rather than making it a good one or no picture at all, sometimes the picture is just bad.  So I'm sorry.  This is a postcard that my dad sent me from Paris when he went on business a few weeks ago.  Well that's it.  Au revoir!!!

March 14th

These are the moments when I wish I had someone else to model for me so that I won't have to use myself.  But either way today's picture was again supposed to be kind of artsy.  I probably over-edited it quite a bit but whatever, I really don't care.  Also, I'm sure in PSE there is some kind of thing that would make the tree kind of pop out instead of being kind of blurry.  Despite that, I think I did a pretty good job today.

This photo again was kind of last minute but this is an afghan that I have started crocheting.  I got the idea from my grandma who was making one very similar to mine.  Well that's it.  Thanks for the idea Grandma!!!

March 12th

Today was such a beautiful day!  My cousin Katie had the idea to have a picnic outside and we did.  It was really gorgeous weather so that worked out really well.  Sorry I didn't get a great picture of my two cousins but I think this one will suffice.  Even though Katie is in the process of putting a forkful of noodles in her mouth, her smile makes her look really cute and Emily's face is absolutely precious with her hair blowing in the wind (or maybe just sticking back to her face from sweat:-) and her laugh is precious as well.  Yup, today was a good day.

March 11th

Yesterday night, I went to my little cousins' performance "Praise Rocks."  My cousin Katie was one of the main characters and Emily had a solo number as well as another ribbon twirling part.  They did such a great job; I'm so proud of them!!!  Katie was a great little actress and despite previous performances by Emily (those of you who were present know what I mean:-)  she did a great job singing and twirling.  Well she got a little tangled up in the ribbon by accident but overall it was really great.  I couldn't very easily get a picture of them so I just got a picture of their little backdrop to represent it.  Okay well that's it!!!

March 10th

Sorry I'm behind yet again.  I realize this picture is kind of simple and I took one just like it a little while back with a different book.  Even so, I feel like this is a good picture because it really represents my life right now.  I am OBSESSED with The Hunger Games series.  A few weeks ago I started reading the first book and it was absolutely amazing.  Best book I've read recently, maybe even best book I've read ever. Catching Fire is the second book in the 3 part series.  I actually just minutes ago finished reading it and already I want to read the third and final book to find out what happens.  I thought that the first book left me hanging but now after completing the second book I know the meaning of that phrase.  But I had to wait what seemed like an endless 2 weeks for the second book so I'm ready and determined to wait another endless time period (64 people ahead of me) for this third book to finally reach my hands.  Hopefully I can figure out a way to get it before then.  I'm working on a few possibilities.  I definitely recommend this book to people (it's geared more towards teenage girls though).  Despite my strong recommendation, it's definitely a somewhat sad and sort of depressing book but once you start it I guarantee you will find yourself having to read the next books in the trilogy.

March 9th

This again is kind of a bad picture but I really like the meaning of it.  At my school all week, there has been Freedom Week put on by FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes).  For all of you who do not know what FCA is, it is a time of fellowship in public schools across the country usually every Friday morning.  We usually just worship and then a speaker comes up.  It sounds kind of boring but it's actually really great because you get to meet some really nice people who share your beliefs.  Yesterday, March 9th, the date that this picture was taken, was Ash Wednesday.  I used to think that Ash Wednesday was just a holiday celebrated by Catholics but I've come to realize that it's much more than that.  It is the day that marks the beginning of Lent, approximately 40 days before Easter and a time of sacrifice for Jesus.  At FCA that morning, instead of doing the tradition of rubbing ashes on your forehead, they drew a cross on our hand, hence, the cross on my hand.  (No duh)

Sorry for the big backup on uploading these pictures.  This is a picture of a teddy bear (yes another one, I have several:-)  that my grandpa gave me not too long ago.  He got it from an FBI luncheon that he recently attended.  This bear is so cute and I really like it so I thought that it deserved a place in this project!!!

Okay so this picture is kinda last minute.  Like it's 10:30 PM and I just took this picture about 2 minutes ago.  I had another picture that I took earlier in the day but I accidentally deleted it from my camera.  So I had to do some quick thinking so I could get my picture in and since I was sitting at my desk while I was thinking about it, I decided to take a picture of my computer mouse.  So here it is.  Isn't is funny how I made a really long story out of something so simple???  Oh well, that's me for ya!!!

I really like this picture and I especially like this dress that I just recently bought for only $2!!!  But I over sharpened it in PSE and it's really sad because it really kind of ruined the quality of the picture :(  So I apologize for the bad quality.  I'll try to do better next time!
